THE 2014 CONFERENCE ON MANAGEMENT OF ACCOUNT RECEIVABLES

The expert conference “MANAGEMENT OF ACCOUNT RECEIVABLES 2014" organized by EU Generation was held on 18 and 19 November 2014 at the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel in Bratislava. One of the guest speakers of the conference was Mr. Peter Štrpka, the partner of our law firm.

Mr. Štrpka during his presentation titled "It is not worth paying or welcome to Slovakia” further addressed the following issues:

• the phenomenon of non-payment of invoices in different business sectors - a growing problem often leading to the termination of business,
  
  
• the present-day problems of enforcement of claims as a result of staged transfers of ownership interests, liquidations, bankruptcy and restructuring of companies, professional experience and model examples,
  
  
• the protection of dishonest consumer vs. protection of honest entrepreneurs given by the state authorities,
  
  
• delayed justice is no justice - selected problems of enforcement of claims in court proceedings in Slovakia, legislative and other activities to improve unsolicited situations in the future.
