THE MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION

On 2 February 2015 the civic association The Scholarly Legal Society (Učená právnická spoločnosť), the STARS & FRIENDS Foundation and law firm SOUKENÍK - ŠTRPKA, s. r. o. signed The Memorandum of Cooperation to become partners in order to jointly support the project of drafting of a new modern Sports Act.

The joint effort of the partners of the Memorandum of Cooperation is to promote the overall development of physical education and sports in Slovakia, inter alia to organize educational events and activities being both an immanent part and a declaration of this common endeavour.

The purpose of the Memorandum of Cooperation is, in particular, to achieve changes in management, administration, financing and public control of the Slovak sport and to positively influence the professional, contextual, theoretical as well as practical, legal and non-legal feature and contents of professional activities, in particular, in the field of sports law, including the active participation in the making and presentation of national sports legislation and its implementation into practice.
