NEW SPORTS ACT BECAME EFFECTIVE EARLY THIS YEAR

On 15 December 2015, the President of the Slovak Republic Andrej Kiska signed the Sports Act, which was published on 29 December 2015 in the Collection of Laws under No. 440/2015 Coll.
The Sports Act, which will systematically change the organisation and system of funding of the Slovak sport, became effective on 1 January 2016.
