MIROSLAV HLIVÁK BECAME THE NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE PUBLIC PROCUREMENT OFFICE (ÚVO)

Mgr. Miroslav Hlivák, PhD., LLM, has been elected the Chairman of the Public Procurement Office. During a secret election, 78 members of the National Council of the Slovak Republic voted for him.
Chairman of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, Andrej Danko, passed a decree appointing Miroslav Hlivák, the newly elected Chairman of the Public Procurement Office (ÚVO) being the candidate for the chairman of the ÚVO originally proposed by the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava.
"I want to perform my function with the best of my knowledge and conscience, using all my knowledge and experience I have gained during my professional life. I am ready for an open and substantive discussion with all those who are sincerely committed to helping improve and reform the public procurement system in Slovakia," emphasized Miroslav Hlivák. As he said, enforcing the changes in the Office will be based on his project which he presented in August to the government for a public hearing.
