PETER ŠTRPKA, PRESENTER OF THE 23RD ANNUAL CONFERENCE THE SLOVAK DAYS OF LAW

The Slovak Bar Association organized the 23rd Slovak Days of Law which took place on 5-6 October at the premises of Devin Hotel in Bratislava.

The conference brought a lively debate on the current legislation and the philosophy of law, and enriched this year being anyway extraordinary rich in lecturing and educational activity of the Association. While in most other events this year the emphasis was placed on purely practical topical issues related in particular to application issues of informatization and electronic delivery, the October scientific conference brought an opportunity to address timeless issues as well.

The main themes of the conference were the Transformation of the Companies in Practice, the Principle 3 Times Is Enough in Criminal Proceedings and the Interpretation of Legal Texts - Legal Hermeneutics.
