LEGAL FORUM 2016

The professional community and other guests discussed an interesting current topic “Law Enforcement in Slovakia. Justice after the Elections” at the Legal Forum 2016.

The professional events Legal Forum 2016 was held on 17 February 2016 at the Hotel NH Gate One in Bratislava.

The event was attended by the representatives of the justice and law firms as well as representatives of political parties and businesses. Peter Štrpka, a partner at our law firm SOUKENÍK – ŠTRPKA, was one of the speakers at the event.

Peter Štrpka’s expert lecture on “Certainty of Legal Uncertainty or the Issue of Predictability of Law in Legal Practice” addressed current issues associated with predictability of law in the context of predictability of changes of laws, their interpretation and speed of decision-making if they are breached.

After positive feedback from the participants, the organisers of the event, the Trend weekly and epravo.sk, plan to prepare the Legal Forum also in the future to build a tradition of legal events where the professional community can respond to current legislative issues and thus help improve the legal environment in Slovakia.
